Intimate seating areas now feature sleek and contemporary furniture such as a semi-circular sofa, high-backed leather chairs and round tables that all encourage guests to relax and mingle.

From the moment guests walk into the Miami Airport Marriott, it is abundantly clear the hotel is showcasing a sophisticated and fresh new design. Indeed, the property recently capped a $15-million renovation, the majority of which was focused on the creation of the brand's new lobby concept.

The 366-room Miami Airport Marriott first opened its doors in 1973 and just as it was the city's first Marriott, it is also the first in Miami to debut Marriott's Great Room lobby design, which is aimed to encourage a more social atmosphere within a hotel's public spaces.
