Glass tiles have a luminous, lustrous finish. "They have a wonderful, iridescent look," Kubli says. "In a backsplash or on a wall, they contrast beautifully with a countertop."

Glass can be more expensive than some other choices. "Porcelain is more affordable," Kubli says. "But tiles of man-made materials are less expensive than natural stone." continued…
