Every Hawks Landing luxury home that Ford Robinette, custom home builder and developer, builds has a creative story. This 5,480 square foot residence was originally a spec home with collaborative finishes selected by Betsy Rauch, VP of Robinette Homes, Kent Adams, Construction Supervisor of Robinette Homes, and Eloise Kubli, ASID of Collective Construction & Design.

The design was born with imagination and innovation that is the ultimate hall mark of Hawks Landing.

Ford Robinette decided to renovate this home and customize it for his personal needs by requesting a traditional grand luxury style for his personal paradise. All the furnishings are extremely comfortable and lushly detailed to create a unique atmosphere.

Custom wrought iron pendant light fixtures add further dimension and scale to the space. The walls and tray ceilings are faux finished and form a rich, warm backdrop. Sumptuous silk drapery, pecky cypress front door, and custom iron work reflect Robinette’s taste and lifestyle.

At the end of the Grand Hall Entry is the formal Dining Room. Marble columns frame the round dining table with its mirrored apron and can comfortably seat eight guests. The table is anchored by the large crystal and iron chandelier. Sheer drapery softly filters sunlight and offers privacy behind the elegant custom ecru silk cornice and panels. Gold leaf detailing accents the wood chair frames, while the backs of the chairs are covered in solid silk to contrast with the nickel latticework.

The large Game Room was formed from combining the homes’ original office and guest bedroom. Entry is from the Living Room, where the nine foot custom billiard table overlooks the lake and gives balance to the fully equipped custom bar and wine storage. The copper lusterstone ceiling and wall finish add drama and a masculine touch. The millwork features unique hand punched copper and nail head details enhancing its individual style.

The solid walnut and cognac-hued leather king size bed makes a romantic statement in the vast 18 foot by 36 foot Master Suite. A new box-beamed ceiling with hand carved inlays was added, along with solid marble columns and a marble fireplace, to define the room. The cut chenille loveseat provides comfortable seating at the foot of the bed to view the large screen TV enclosed in the custom sized entertainment armoire. The cozy sitting room is luxurious and elegant and creates a romantic space to escape. Luscious silk drapery with velvet ribbon and crystals on the lead edges refract the light.
