Bold Shine - A mix of textures and colors that come together upon installation that create magic and balance.

This space features bold shine yet has a certain serenity about it.
Kubli · Interior design is like a painting in your mind — a mix of textures and colors that come together upon installation that create magic and balance. Both the wife and her husband have hectic careers and needed a place to relax at the end of the day, so for this particular room, it was critical to define the sleeping and lounge areas, as I wanted the space to imbue a sanctuary-like feel reminiscent of visiting a fine resort.
Was there a particular inspiration for your color story?
Kubli · The custom bed set the tone for the entire room to be layered in shimmering, reflective hues of platinum and silver. From there, sophistication was then quickly determined with simple yet detailed millwork. The soft color scheme of ivory, blue, white and gray bestows a relaxing atmosphere while providing a muted background for the crystal, Lucite and metallic finishes to shine through, creating a serene yet seductive space.
Let’s talk details about the décor and finishes.
Kubli · Wide-blade shutters offered a timeless solution to the clients’ privacy concerns, while gorgeous linen draperies wrap the space in luxury yet are motorized to provide another level of privacy and light control. Statement moldings and a crystal chandelier create drama and scale. I also added a special piece to the space with the silver-cast tree cocktail table to reflect Bachelor Gulch in Colorado, where the clients first met. <<<
